Over the years we have worked on many guides and booklets but the 2020 Fairfield Visitors Guide was the first we had done for a visitors bureau.
We were beyond excited to submit our proposal for the job. Originally we were asked to quote both design and printing but after discussing the client’s needs, which included storing much of the 50,000 guides and providing them case by case as needed, it was obvious we did not have the space to facilitate such a request. However, we were able to meet the layout and design needs of our customer and we were able to work closely with the printer to set up the job for their press.
All of the content including mostly user-generated photos, and text copy were provided by the Fairfield Visitors Center. We added graphic elements to enhance the content where needed and laid out each spread to be unique.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the 2020 Fairfield County, Ohio Destination Guide did not get as much attention as it would have normally. Subsequently, the 2021 guide was a digital-only version with some alterations made from the year prior such as a new cover and some copy changes to reflect the new year.
